Products purchased from ealmeu.eu are protected by applicable consumer rights. To make a claim, contact the seller, MX DROPS SRL, at contact@ealmeu.eu.
1. Consumers – legal guarantee of conformity (Romania)
If you buy as a consumer for purposes outside your trade or profession, the seller is responsible for defects of conformity that existed at delivery and become apparent within 24 months from delivery, subject to the applicable law. This legal protection is free of charge and does not depend on a separate commercial warranty certificate. For purchases governed by Romanian law, repair or replacement must take place within a reasonable period of no more than 15 calendar days after the seller is informed, as agreed in writing under OUG 140/2021.
For a lack of conformity, you can request repair or replacement free of charge under the applicable law. Where the legal conditions are met, you may instead be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract. The seller bears the costs necessary to remedy a covered lack of conformity, including applicable shipping costs.
2. Business buyers – contractual warranty
For purchases by legal entities for professional purposes, MX DROPS SRL provides a 12-month contractual warranty from delivery for thermal printers. It covers manufacturing defects arising during normal use in accordance with the instructions. We will assess the product and repair or replace it as appropriate if the claim is covered. This does not limit any mandatory rights that the buyer has under applicable law or contract.
3. Paper rolls, labels and other consumables
Normal wear and depletion of thermal paper rolls, labels and other consumables are not covered by the printer warranty. This does not remove a consumer's legal rights if a consumable was non-conforming when delivered. Battery and component defects are assessed on their merits; normal wear alone is not a manufacturing defect.
4. How to make a claim
- Email contact@ealmeu.eu with your order number or other proof of purchase, the product and a description of the problem.
- If available, include photos or a short video. They can speed up assessment but are not required to exercise legal rights.
- We will explain how to have the product inspected and, if necessary, sent to us. A covered consumer claim is remedied free of charge.
Damage caused after delivery by impact, liquids, misuse, failure to follow instructions or unauthorised intervention is not covered where it caused the reported problem. Missing original packaging alone is not a reason to reject a claim. The legal guarantee is separate from the right to withdraw from an online purchase.
The separate “GARAN” label applies only to a free manufacturer's commercial guarantee of durability covering the entire product for more than two years. It does not represent the legal guarantee described here.
